BCHS athletic trainer certified in golf fitness
Tom Lawrence, MA, ATC, a certified athletic trainer at Battle Creek Health System has recently attained certification as a golf fitness instructor (CGFI) from the Titlest Performance Institute. The CGFI credential allows Lawrence to assess individuals for the strength, stability, flexibility, mobility, and neuromuscular control necessary for an efficient golf swing. The individual assessment is done through physical measurements, video swing analysis, resulting in a six-week exercise program designed to improve the golfer's game.
