BCHS looks for input on CEO search
The process to identify a new president/CEO at Battle Creek Health System is well underway. The search committee is holding a public forum on Wednesday, October 29, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Burnham Brook's Lew Boyd Room to ask the public for its opinions on what it would like to see in the new hospital leader.
According to Dr. Mahesh Karamchandani and Nelson Karre, co-chairs of the local search effort, "Input from this meeting will help us create a CEO profile that will guide us in filling the lead position at BCHS."
Following a decade of visionary leadership, Battle Creek Health System President and CEO Pat Garrett announced in July that he would transition into a new executive role with one of BCHS's 'parent' organizations, Trinity Health. Garrett, whose new position will be vice president of Trinity Health's operations performance leadership department, continues to serve as president and CEO during the national search. Trustees expect the search process will end by early in 2009.
If you are unable to attend this public forum, you may send your comments to Kathy Latty, administration office, Battle Creek Health System or email them to:
