Local vet's office 'ponies' up support for cancer
When someone says something is 'going to the dogs,' it usually means things did not go as planned. But that is not the case with the Pennfield Animal Hospital. In fact, everything was just 'ducky.'
In an effort to help others, the staff and patrons at the local veterinary office raising more than $250 for The Cancer Care 'Medication Fund' at Battle Creek Health System.
Gifts to the Medication Fund enable BCHS to provide financial help for cancer patients who cannot afford needed medications.
